It's burning hot!

About 2~3 weeks ago, the temperature of Tokyo was about 40 degrees. Crazy temperature!  I had passed with an air conditioner every day.  An electric bill of my house was crazy cost too. sigh...

I have made some miniatures little by little.

biscuit, fish cookies and leaf pie.

This is ornament. The subject is sewing.

It seems enamel plate and cup.

Wooden plate and spoon.

A bag. This is made from clay etc.

 I have made a hawker of Melon pan. :) He put melon pan into the car.

A hand bell. His working tool. Of course, it can not sound because this is miniature.

The handle is made from toothpick.

This is ornament. The subject is a bird house.

I have a lot of photos today. :) I made miniature suitcase. This suitcase can open and close. But, it can not close smoothly... So, I decided to fix the open condition.

 The handle can move a little. 

Girlish shoulder bag. 

Oh. I have to make to Halloween. At first, I started make a pumpkin lantern. Shaped  a pumpkin from clay....

Japanese sweet bread :-9

It's burning hot everyday in Japan. I'm limp with fatigue. X(  How is everyone?

Let me introduce about Japanese sweet bread "melon pan". I guess this is kind of Japanese traditional bread. This photo is real melon pan. The figure of melon pan is like a melon.  Cookie dough put on the bread dough, make line and baked.  Actuality some melon pan is not real melon flavor, it's lemon flavor. But a few years ago, melon pan was be popular, came boom. A lot of bakery developed delicious melon pan that use melon juice or melon cream inside of melon pan etc. This melon pan is yellow, but there are green version in some bakery. I like melon pan. :-9

I made miniature melon pan by clay. :D I guess if I didn't explain about melon pan, other people except people live in Japan may don't understand this is bread.
And it appear pink melon pan in some bakery in April. The flavor is cherry blossom. Cherry blossom is April flower in Japan. :)

What am I doing? hehehe...

I had make other miniature. These are mugs like a enamel.  I will put on more other color on a light blue mug later.

This is cookie leaf figure. This is called "leaf pie" in Japan. The texture is crispy.
I will put on color after dry. I make a lot of leaf pies. sigh....

Little report and miniature teddy bears

I participated miniature show on the other day. And Doll festival and Otaku festival opened same day in same building too.

This is my booth this year. I noticed about display. "Simple is best." hahaha.

The show had two days. I talked a lot of people. :) I enjoyed very much. But I was very tired on the day after show. I guess.... I was very merry. hahaha

I made some miniature teddy bear. Making bear is very hard, but I am very happy when it done.

Now I started making new bears. A bear on the right side looks like gentleman. Sorry, gentleman face. I need cute face to new works. So, I made other one (on the left side). I will give gentleman face other opportunity that appear in my works.

Done. :) His height is about 4.7cm. This fur is very soft to the touch. Therefore some parts slipped out of my hand a lot of times when I had sewed. And I like this color.

I have sewed other one now. Blue bear's nose is a little lower on his face, but this bear's nose is normal position. Good looking. :)

A long time

Hello again. :-) I had stopped this English blog. I'm sorry. I had prepared some works to big art exhibition, Design festa vol.37 in Tokyo. I was super busy. X(
This event is the biggest art event in Asia, over 10,000 artists participate to this event.

I report about the biggest event simply.

Mainly I made....

blue bear is waiting for his girl friend back to home. Or.... he made her angry, he visit to her home with rose he grew and some sweets she likes to apologize. But she don't open the door, he is at a loss... Which story do you like? hahaha

I took some photos from window of train. This place is Toyosu, Tokyo. Toyosu is reclaimed land, it have redeveloped now. There are a lot of high-and medium-rise apartment buildings and office building.

This building's name is BIG SIGHT. The design festa is here. It had two days. 

I participated the event with my friend. We arrived early morning. Some other artist had started preparation too.

Our booth had an accident. Boooooo! We rent a curtain to partition but it was mistook set up. We complain about this to staff of this event. Some staff set up over again. We couldn't start to preparation at once.

A girl bear with tiny bear left side are my friend made. They visit to little violetta's kitchen. :))  How sooooo lovely!!

I enjoyed for two days. And next month, I participate miniature show. I already start busy days again....
